Well what a weekend it has been for the team!! Absolutely outstanding!! We couldn’t be more proud of the performance by all competitors over this weekend.
This weekend was extremely trying, as the team had to switch from no head punches and point stop, to continuous sparring, only 2 punches followed by a kick, and then the added technical jumping spin kick! It was a lot to take on board and to convert our style in such a short time. The team did brilliantly, as there were less warnings this year than last year! 😂.
There was a contrast in calibre and style this weekend. The competitors were exposed to different styles of martial arts, and a more competitive ITF group, to which they all held their own and delivered their best.
This weekend the team have totaled an unbelievable 55 medals, keep up the great work team!
